Cathedrale de Bel Air

When you follow the streets from Trou d´Eau Douce straight through the sugar cane plantage, you will get to Bel Air. In this small village, which is 8 km from Centre Flacq away, you will find the Cathedral of Bel Air.

You already see the high spires of the Cathedral, which was build in a beautiful garden, from the street. As you drive through    the old and heavy black iron gate, the sacred building shines straight into your eyes.

Seeing the impressive Cathedral on the outside, you are immediately interessted to discover the interior fittings.

Opening the dark double door, your eyes will see a light altar. Above that you will find a wonderful painting with a religious motive. Futhermore the coloured church windows let the sunlight into the fascinating church and illuminates the wooden pews.
